| Thank you for taking the time to learn more about this open seat election. Your vote counts! It's not about voting Republican or Democrat, because democracy is at it’s best when there is a vibrant two-party system. My experience working with the General Assembly has taught me about the kind of legislator I want to be. As a Legislative Assistant I have worked closely, not only with state agencies, but also the county, DelDOT, DNREC and local municipalities. I have seen the best and worst of government. Constituent service and responsive representation will be my top priority, and as a decision maker I will never forget that I work for you. My promise to you is to be your voice, to speak for everyone in every neighborhood, Republicans and Democrats, retirees and young families, everyone. The theme of my campaign is “listening to your concerns”, and that is why I spent my campaign knocking on your doors. You have invited me in, given me tours of your homes, food and drink, and shared with me openly. This has been the best work of my life. I have always said “it’s a lot of work, but it’s a good work” and I believe all politics is still personal. That’s why you won’t see me at a grocery store, you’ll see me at your front door. With your support, and as your next state representative, this work will be my full-time privilege and not my part-time job. As your State Representative I will be a strong, independent voice in Dover - your voice. I will work for you and for the things we know will make Delaware a better place. |
